WINTHROP LAKE
Just a few blocks from Winthrop's campus is a local favorite. Whether you are looking to walk the dog, go for a jog, relax on a blanket, go fishing, play soccer or disc golf, this is the perfect place to just relax. Also referred to as 'Winthrop Farm', this is where JP and Anna take Mingo for walks and the occasional evening run!
THE MERCANTILE
Not really classified as an outdoor activity, but they generally have live music set up, a food truck, and outdoor seating in front of the shop on the weekend!

This is for our avid outdoors lovers. You can do everything from hiking, biking, running, kayaking, horseback riding, and more. There is a $6 day pass fee for non-members. This Greenway is gorgeous and so well preserved!
SOUTHTOWN WAKE PARK
If you are looking for a more adventurous outdoor activity, South Town Wake Park offers wake boarding for all skill levels. This unique park is set up to pull riders using an overhead cable system, rather than by boat!
